IT Assistant Manager

Summary:

Person would be responsible for supporting

1. Corporate IT infrastructure/helpdesk in Korea office as 1st level service desk and desk support.

2. Retail Store support as 2nd level service desk with outsourced 1st level service desk

3. Participating in small/mid-scale project for local and international for office and store

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain healthy condition of Corporate and Store IT service with understanding of infrastructure and end user computing environment (Active Directory, Network, Printers, Office suite)

• Act as 1st level service desk and desk support of infrastructure for user incidences

• Support the following Retail system with outsourced local/global vendors as Level 2

o POS, Meraki, Traffic counter, Sound system and Office applications

• Support and execution of New/Relocation Store openings (may include off-hours installation) including

communication with various local/global partner and department store

• Corporate Infrastructure and POS equipment management (ordering of equipment, installation and testing)

• Corporate equipment management (PC, Printers, Fax, Scanners)

• Deliver business and Global IT infrastructure demands based on the agreed IT prioritization to ensure delivery effectiveness and efficiency

• Implement system changes, small to mid-scale projects for infrastructure operation t

• Responsible to report all progress in infrastructure operations by tracking all activities in internal and external resources to deliver facts timely to ensure the right decisions are taken in IT and business teams

• Point of contact for system change management associated with the above environment

o Specification documentation (collaboration with the business and 3rd parties, functional and technical)

o Working with 3rd party vendors

o Test Scripts Documentation and Execution

o Cutover Planning and Execution

o End-user coordination (working with business sponsors and leadership)

o Post Migration Support (may include off-hours)

Education & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 3~5 years of IT experience in Retail industry

• Basic understanding about MS-SQL Database management is a plus

• Experience with international POS operation is a plus

• Experience in international company as ServiceDesk is a plus

• Experience in project management for international application implementation is a plus

Other Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication abilities with good command in written and spoken English.

• Must have good interpersonal skills to deal with user community and vendors

• Desire to learn application management to grow

• Open to learning mindset

단순한 PC, 프린터 같은 주변 기기와 네트워크를 관리하는 정도의 초급 수준의 직원을 뽑는 것 같네요.

DB 관리도 하는 것으로 보이고...

하는 업무는 일반 전산 직원으로 1~2년 정도  근무했다면 큰 어려움 없는 일들일 걸로 보이지만...

언어에서 극복하지 못할 분들이 많지 않을까 싶어 보이고...

물론... 저 처럼 나이에서 좌절하는 분들도 많겠지만... ㅎㅎㅎ
